2011 SEMA - AFTERHOURS

With the 2011 SEMA show less than a week away, industry insiders are most likely going crazy with last minute show preparations. Booth setups and feature vehicle builds always come down to the final hours before the show opens on Tuesday morning at 9AM. Veterans of the SEMA show are all too familiar with this scenario, despite the amount of planning beforehand. This is SEMA week 2011...WELCOME!

Here at TUNER GALLERIA, we look forward to catching up with friends like Joey from Top Speed, unveiling his new wheel line to checking out the custom exhaust work from Fluid Motor Union on a Mercedes Benz CLK Black Series. We also can't wait to see the latest wheel designs from the boys at ADV.1.

From the frantic, dizzying pace leading up to the opening of SEMA, a calm usually prevails by the end of the first day for the exhibitors and feature vehicle owners. The stress from show preparation gets replaced by figuring out which parties are going on, how to get on the VIP list and how to bypass the ridiculously long lines of guys. As the adults sort through business dinners with sponsors, suppliers, customers, etc., the adolescent lurking in each of us wants to explore the various parties going on. After these parties, somehow its not surprising to find the industry players converged upon the various strip clubs in town. What happens in Vegas should definitely stay in Vegas!
