With the tenth year anniversary of Prestigious Models coming up soon, we caught up with Ms. Kim Loan to talk a bit about her PM company.  Kim broke into the import scene a decade ago as a model and today runs a professional and successful model management company.  In the import scene, she has reached iconic status with a loyal following of fans and admirers, not including the countless young woman looking up to her as a role model.  In case you haven't noticed, incredibly sexy women like Miki Taka, Michelle Zen, and Melyssa Grace are all part of Prestigious Models!

JQP: With your own roots in the import scene, what is different today with the young women modeling than when you started?
KL: Asian models are now starting to expand more into all forms of media, such as television, commercial print, etc. and becoming more of a talent overall than just a model.  They are also becoming more classy and fashionable.  The import scene has definitely created an outlet for young Asian models.

JQP: A lot of young women interested in becoming a model look up to you.  You started as a model and today run your own international management company.  What are some tips or words of wisdom that you can pass along?

KL: The number one advice for girls who are interested in getting into the industry is to get involved for the right reasons.  Do it because you are passionate and willing to work hard at becoming successful.  Be appreciative of every opportunity and never burn any bridges.  Personality definitely goes a long way, as there are so many beautiful girls around.

JQP: Looking at photos of some of your models before they joined PM and then afterwards, there is a remarkable difference.  You have the uncanny ability to spot potential unrealized and then to transform these girls.  What's your secret?
KL: Thanks for noticing!  I seek girls who are comfortable in their own skin.  They must be a positive, confident and social person.  When I scout, I look at their features and picture them with a PM make over.  Once we locate a girl with potential, the transformation begins and shortly thereafter, we just discovered our next Prestigious Model.  These type of girls are much more appreciative and willing to work harder.  Most of the time, the girls who are extremely beautiful and know they are, are the worst ones to work  with.  We look for more than just a beautiful face.  It's about the overall package.  Once you join the PM family, you are here to stay.

JQP: With all the traveling that you do, share a memorable experience with us.  Which has been your favorite city to visit?
KL: I really enjoy traveling to Asia, especially to Hong Kong and Macau.  With the rise of China and other parts of Asia, I feel we are no longer the minority...we are the majority. I love Asian food and culture.  I feel right at home when I'm around Asian people.  I'm obsessed with the city, people and food there.

JQP: PM has dominated the car modeling scene bringing professionalism to this game, tell us about PM's involvement in World Poker Tour to be televised on Fox Sports Network in 2011, as well as the Asian Poker Tour.
KL: Poker is blowing up in Asia especially Macau.  We have been with the Asian Poker Tour for the past 3 years.  We started with them first before any other Poker or gaming company in the world.  We have one main person, Mr. Tom Hall, to be very grateful towards for his involvement.  Because of Tom, Prestigious  Models is currently creating brand identities in the Poker scene around the world.  The Royal Flush Girls are the newest addition to the World Poker Tour brand.  Our PM Royal Flush Girls take viewers behind the scenes to show them what goes on before final table day, during commercial tosses, various casinos and venues highlights.  You can expect to see Prestigious Models stirring up some entertaining stuff within the televised Poker industry.

JQP: So after you fully dominate Poker, what's the next industry to break into?  Where else will we see the lovely girls of PM?
KL: Fans can expect to see us gaining more exposure in various media, such as television, film, music, and other commercial markets.  My overall goal is to be the most well respected and reputable Asian talent agency in the world.

JQP: Besides all this business talk, we want to get to know more about you.  What does a typical non-work day look like for you?
KL: When I'm not working, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and friends singing Karaoke songs in Vietnamese!  Being with them relaxes me and singing helps me express myself.

JQP: So when are we going to see you on American Idol?
KL: Haha, you never know!

JQP: As we wrap up this interview, all the guys reading this probably have one question in mind.  What can they do to get your attention and successfully ask you out on a date?
KL: I'm a very loyal person but live a hectic, workaholic type lifestyle.  The guy has to be confident and have his own thing.  I never take guys seriously because they all flirt initially.  It will require being persistent to get a date with me.

JQP: I'm sure you intimidate a lot of guys too, what characteristics do you look for?  What are definite turn offs for you?
KL: I love a smart, loyal, generous, and well respected guy.  Someone who has integrity and who is very family oriented.  My biggest turn offs are guys who are cheap, arrogant, dishonest and self-centered.  Nothing is sexier than a confident and charming man who stands firmly by what he says, what he believes in and his vision for life.

JQP: Where can fans see you next?
KL: Definitely at the upcoming Tuner Galleria Chicago on March 5th!!!
