TUNER GALLERIA Chicago Hosts PASMAG's Tuner Battlegrounds!

***TUNER GALLERIA joins forces with Performance Auto & Sound Magazine (PASMAG) to host Tuner Battlegrounds! Tuner Battlegrounds is a bracket-style tournament facilitated by PASMAG online at www.tunerbattlegrounds.com.***

Tuner Battlegrounds will be integrated into Tuner Galleria Chicago this year as an award category, similar to a "People's Choice" award.

To compete in the Tuner Battlegrounds Category, Tuners (competitors) must be registered to Tuner Galleria at www.tunergalleria.com/registration_form.aspx AND www.tunerbattlegrounds.com/register (Tuner Galleria to be inputted in the "Event Affiliation" field) by Friday, February 1, 2013. 16 Tuners will qualify and be selected to enter the Battle Stages (competition rounds). In the Battle Stages, Tuners will be paired off to battle each other, 1 stage after another, and 1 Tuner (from each Battle) will advance to the next Stage.

How to advance to the next Stage? When the Battle Stages begin, Tuners must get as many votes as possible before the Stage ends to advance to the next Stage. Rather than PASMAG's internal staff acting as judges to select the winners, that responsibility will fall in the hands of the audience (the fans, show-goers and friends and family of the competing Tuners). With a click of a button, the audience will be able to vote and choose their winners, one Stage after another.

STAGE 5 | Finals - The Top 2 Tuners will battle against each other at the event by gathering votes at www.tunerbattlegrounds.com. Voting will end at a TBA time and the Winner will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at the event.

STAGE 2 | Top 8: Monday, February 11, 2013 (voting ends Friday, February 15, 2013 @ 5:00PM EST)
STAGE 3 | Top 4: Monday, February 18, 2013 (voting ends Friday, February 23, 2013 @ 5:00PM EST)
STAGE 4 | Top 2: Monday February 25, 2013 (voting ends Saturday, March 2, 2013 @ TBA EST)
STAGE 5 | Finals: Saturday, March 2, 2013 (Winner announced Saturday, March 2, 2013 @ TBA EST)
